The Cougar Run
A 5K road race has been a part of BYU Homecoming for more than 25 years. In 2003, the BYU Track and Field program assumed responsibility for the race, and it became the Cougar Run. The 2010 Cougar Run will be held on October 9, at the Clarence Robison Track and Field Complex on Canyon Road south of Lavell Edwards Stadium.5K Race
Runners begin at the Robison Track and Field Complex and follow the Homecoming parade route, cheered on by the energetic crowd awaiting the parade, which is soon to follow. The race concludes with a lap around the track. Click here for a course description and map. The 5K begins at 9:45 am.Kids Races
The Cougar Run also includes kids races, which are contested in the Robison Track and Field Complex prior to the 5K race. Children ages 1-4 compete in a 200 meter run, ages 5-6 compete in a 400 meter run, ages 7-9 compete in a 800 meter run, and ages 10-12, in a one mile run. Kids races begin at 8:45 am.Entry Fees

Race Bib Number and T-Shirt Pickup
You can pick up your race bib number and Cougar Run T-shirt on the morning of the race begining at 8:00 at the Robison Track and Field complex.Participant Perks
Each pre-registered participant will receive an official Cougar Run souvenir t-shirt. Participants registering the day of the race will receive a t-shirt while supplies last.All race participants will be entered in a drawing for prizes to be distributed following the race. Non-participants may enter the drawing by submitting their name, address, and telephone number to the BYU Track office, 54 SFH, Provo, UT 84602, by October 1. Must be present to win.
